These terms are an agreement between you and [operator's legal name] ("Romply", "we") for the Romply app on the web and phones, and for Romply inside ChatGPT (together, "Romply"). By using Romply, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Romply.
You must be at least 13. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You sign in with a Google account, and you're responsible for what happens in your Romply account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
You own what you save in Romply, including pages, lists, entries, and photos. To run Romply, you give us permission to store, copy, and process your content, and to show it to you and to the people you share it with. This permission is worldwide and free of charge, and it ends when you delete the content, except for copies someone else keeps on a page you shared with them.
You're responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the right to save and share it, including photos and text you add from other sources.
When you share a page, a list, or a shelf, the people you invite can see it. People with edit access can also change it and add to it, from the app or from their own ChatGPT. What people add to your shared items stays with your items, even if they delete their account. You can stop sharing at any time.
Many pages are made by AI such as ChatGPT. Romply saves what the AI produced and doesn't check whether it's correct. Recipes, study plans, travel details, health, money, and legal information can be wrong or out of date. Check anything important with a reliable source. Romply isn't professional advice.
Romply works with services we don't control, including ChatGPT and Google sign-in. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we're not responsible for them. If ChatGPT changes or stops supporting apps like Romply, parts of Romply may stop working.
Don't use Romply to:
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and let you export your data.
Romply is in beta. It's free for now, and features may change, be limited, or stop. Things can go wrong in a beta, so export copies of anything important. If we start charging, we'll tell you the price before anything costs you money, and paying will always be your choice.
We may change these terms. We'll post the new version here with its date, and tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Romply after that, the new terms apply.
You can stop using Romply and delete your account at any time in the Account screen. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we shut Romply down. If we shut it down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to export your data.
Romply is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost, and we disclaim implied warranties.
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim about Romply is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and CA$50.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived, including the laws of your province.
These terms are governed by the laws of [province] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of [province], unless your local consumer law gives you the right to go to court where you live.
